Since 1912, Oscar Heyman has been creating extraordinary fine jewelry. Known as the “Jewelers’ Jeweler,” a title earned while producing pieces for Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Tiffany, and other famed jewelry retailers, Oscar Heyman jewelry showcases the majestic elegance of colorful gemstones. Each piece is meticulously crafted by American artisans using techniques passed down through three generations of this family business.

What are your favorite stones to work with and why?
Beyond diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and sapphires, Oscar Heyman specializes in esoteric gemstones with equally glamorous appeal, including but not limited to alexandrite, cat’s- –eye chrysoberyl, black opals, aquamarines, tourmalines, star rubies, and star sapphires. Where do you draw your inspiration?
We are inspired by the beauty of natural gemstones. Our designs aim first to highlight the brilliance, hue, and luster of each stone. As a 112-year-old brand, we also have a wealth of archives to draw upon for design inspiration; we have over 200,000 hand-painted gouache designs dating back to the early 1920s.
